This is my favorite place in my whole city. Often times when I feel lost, depressed, down in the dumps, alone, or just plain unwanted & useless I come here, sit and by the time I leave, I feel so renewed, its breath takingly beautful, and the peace ou feel within these walls is overwhelming..I love it here!.. And the inside is as beautiful as the outside!

The Cathedral was designed by Architect Emmanuel Masqueray who aimed to create a Renaissance inspired Cathedral of great grandeur. He achieved his goals by creating the states most magnificent and beautiful building.

The massive building took 10 years to build and was opened in 1915 although interior work continued in the years to come. The church is graced with massive copper domes rising about 320 feet from the floor and the cathedral walls are made of beautiful Minnesota Granite stones.

The main building is bordered by two Carillon towers while the seating area can accommodate 3000 worshippers. There is a small basement Museum that contains Architect’s Masqueray’s original designs.

Wow!!! that's a beautiful Cathedral Deeva, both inside and outside. I love visiting places like that, they are so full of history.
